Es llegar a la playa y enfrentarnos a los temidos y malditos mosquitos. Picaduras, avones, y ronroneo en la oreja mientras duermes o al menos intentas dormir. Si hay un niño en casa, te puedes olvidar, todos estos insectos alados e inmundos irán a él y te dejarán dormir a ti a pierna suelta. Desde que mi hijo viene a la casa de la playa, así ha sido. Mosquito que entra, mosquito que le cata. El primer día, no hacía mucho calor, y la cosa estuvo tranquila, pero después, en cuestión de una noche y una siesta, me le pusieron al pobre como un colador, con los avones correspondientes claro.
Así que visita a la Farmacia de turno para que nos dieran algo que aliviara. Iba pensando en el tan nombrado (en televisión) After Bite, pero la farmaceútica me dijo que para niños no porque tiene amoniaco. Así que me dio la versión infantil AFTER PICK Niños de laboratorios Esteve. Su descripción:

Y efectivamente, atenúa. Y además reseca el granito, lo cual hace que se vaya eliminando antes. Después de aplicárselo todo el día de ayer (se aplica tantas veces como sea necesario, aunque dura bastante una aplicación), y esta mañana ahora mismo tiene los granitos mucho menos inflamados, apenas tiene picor, y están más sequitos. Así que creo que es un producto recomendable y además necesario tener en estos meses de verano para aliviar a nuestros pequeños, en caso de que lo necesiten.
Eso sí, si no queréis que los insectos ataquen de nuevo la dulce piel de vuestro peque ya podéis ponerles barreras. Insecticidas y demás productos en spray solo vale para el momento en que fumigas la habitación, y con niños no es recomendable. Pero los insecticidas de enchufe son muy eficaces. El pasado verano probamos varias marcas, y la única que ha conseguido que los mosquitos ni se acerquen ha sido Raid. Os dejo un artículo aquí, donde se indica que no son problemáticos para la salud. Además tiene un nuevo enchufe sin depósito de líquido, tiene una especie de pastillita muy cómoda. Y como os digo, funcionar, funciona. Un par de enchufes por habitaciones y problema controlado. Funciona incluso dejando las ventanas abiertas.

Pobre, a mi hija tambiñen la han dejado marcada pero lo peor es que algunas picaduras se le han llegado a infectar y se las ha pasado de un sitio a otro. No sabía que esto podía ocurrir pero es lo que me ha comentado su pediatra, el tratamiento una pomada para aplicarle tres veces al día. Te aseguro que parecen cicatrices de heridas, es tremendo.
De momento, a quien le pican es a mi. Hoy misma iba por la calle y me ha picado uno en la pierna. A mi hijo no he visto que le piquen, al menos de momento, porque como pille a uno, lo mato (¡nunca mejor dicho!). Yo es que siempre he sido la típica a la que le pican mucho los mosquitos.
El otro día oí que es por el olor de las personas, que no es necesariamente por el hecho de que sea niños…
Parece que siempre decimos eso de que los mosquitos pican a unos y otros no. El problema es que a algunos les hace reacción y a otros no. Así que parece que a esos no les pican nunca. A mi por ejemplo me hacen muchísima reacción y a mi hijo poco o nada, afortunadamente. Yo tengo una mosquitera en la cama de esas de Ikea y desde entonces soy feliz. En cuanto a las avispas por ejemplo a mi hijo le picó una avispa una vez y se le notaba un poquito pero ni se le hinchó y a los dos días no tenía ni marca. A mi me picó una avispa en la playa el año pasado y tuvimos que salir zumbando, los socorristas querian llamar a la ambulancia para llevarme al centro de salud XDDD yo les dije que ya iba yo con mi marido en el coche que estaba al lado, que tampoco era plan de asustar al peque, que estaba con nosotros. XDD El caso es que tuve el brazo inflamado casi un mes y claro inyección de urbason y empastillada todo el tiempo, al menos me libré de la inyección de adrenalina, algo es algo. XD

Nosotros compramos uno de enchufe, esos que salen en la tele que con uno controla toda la casa. Este era especial para hormigas, y otros bichos, no sé si los mosquitos también. Al principio costó que se fueran pero ahora no entran!

Pues ,a mi niña la acribillan y además parece que tiene alergia,o algo por que se le hincha una pasada y se le pone un calor alrededor de la zona…La llevé a la farmacia y yo tambien iba con la idea de afterbite y me dijeron que no,y me dieron azarón y la verdad que muy bien es como una barra de labios .
Respecto a los enchufes raid¡el invento del siglo!desde que he puesto,no hay picaduras dentro de casa.
En mi casa también desde que somos pequeños mis padres han puesto los de raid (creo que era esta marca) en casa y la verdad es que no ves ninguno.
Pero yo no sé si este año se estan cebando porque yo tengo cada picadura que madre mia, habría que matar a todos los mosquitos xDD
Aquí afortunadamente no hay mosquitos. Mi suegra nos pone uno de esos de enchufe y la verdad es que los mantiene a raya.
En casa, desde que nació el peque (llámanos paranoicos, jeje), usamos ahuyentadores por ultrasonidos. Tenemos uno en el salón y otro en el dormitorio y, de momento, ni una picadura.
